The Odney Club’s expansive grounds extend to 95 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside on the banks of the River Thames.
Ranging from manicured gardens and parkland, including shrub and herbaceous borders, tree-lined avenues and colourful seasonal bedding displays to wildlife-rich meadows and tranquil water garden.
This is a great garden not to be missed with its superb water features and beautiful landscape.
It’s the perfect place to picnic and catch up with your loved ones.
John Speden Lewis, the founder of the John Lewis Partnership, was a keen naturalist and the creator of the Odney Estate.
The Odney Club, in partnership with groups such as Wild Cookham, are seeking to follow in Speden’s footsteps by working to nurture biodiversity across the Estate.
We invite Members, Partners and teams across the John Lewis Partnership to sponsor a tree. The woodland will be planted in quarter-acre plots, maturing into a biodiverse habitat over the next 20 years. Each plot will consist of 25 feature trees, with 200 supplementary saplings.
